13:45 Novell Open Collaboration - DataSync - Cockpit - What's it all about? Erno de Korte
These last few months more and more pieces of the puzzle have been delivered by Novell in webinars and webcasts - what will Novell be delivering in the upcoming months and years with regards to "Open Collaboration"? Will this have an impact on my existing investments in collaboration - GroupWise, Teaming, other solutions? Will this (finally) solve some of the problems we have to inter-connect our systems? There is a lot of news about this, so come see and enjoy the ride.

Teaming 2.0 - The Real Life Example
Paul Van der Cruyssen
Paul has been working with Teaming for several years now, not only talking about it and implementing it at customer sites, but also using it himself a lot as part of the many Open Horizons projects, like the production of the Open Horizons Magazine. As there is not such a thing as "a perfect solution - one size fits all", Paul expertly explains how you can optimize your work processes and support your projects using Novell Teaming. Very practical session, with a lot of opportunities to ask questions.

BONUS: SUSE Studio - Why would this be useful for us?
Leo Eraly
SUSE Studio is a very exciting and new technology, which enables you to rapidly create (virtual) servers based on the strong SUSE Linux Enterprise 11 engine without any hassle or overhead. Simple go to the online system and specify some parameters "et voila", your system will be created and available to you - tuned for optimal performance.

The speakers at this event are:

Denis de Wit
Mark Beermann

Denis de Wit is working as Sales Engineer for Messaging Architects for over 3 years now. He has done quite some experiences with project based implementations of Messaging Architects products. He is speaker at several locations of the GroupWiseR and Novell Tour.

Mark has a background in messaging and mobile data and has been involved with product and business management of mobile devices at Philips, business consultancy at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, and involved in several internet start-ups on mobile services. The last couple of years he is active as interim and business development manager and independent telecom consultant. In 2003 Mark has started the Messaging Architects in the Netherlands.

Paddy Verberne
Paul Van der Cruyssen

Paddy has been active with GroupWise and many other Novell solutions for many years. When working on projects for the city of 's Hertogenbosch, he is always keen for the connection between the technical aspects and the solution as the end-user expects. He has been responsible for the network and everything connected to that network for more than 12 years, making sure it is both "future-proof" as well as reliable. Recently Paddy moved to the position of R&D-specialist, so he needs to transfer more and more of his older tasks to his colleagues.

Ten years ago Paul Van der Cruyssen had to install his first e-mail system, and it was ... GroupWise. Love at first sight! After this installion he installed, migrated and supported small and big groupware systems. Paul works as an independent consultant. As a true believer he installed the first GroupWise on Linux in Belgium. If there's time, then Paul is also active as a beta tester (iFolder, ZENworks, GroupWise).

Erno de Korte
Leo Eraly
Erno has been supporting GroupWise since it was still called WordPerfect Office, with a special interest in integration of document management, workflow, CRM and PDA's. As an MCNE and MCNI, he has delivered training and consulting throughout the world. Erno has been a speaker on BrainShare, Summits and NUI events. Erno has been one of authors of the Novell Press "GroupWise 7.0 Administrator Solution Guide" and the lead author of “The GroupWise Powerguide". Erno has also written many articles for several magazines and is one of the initiators of the Open Horizons magazine.
Leo Eraly is working and living in Belgium as a Linux and Novell consultant for The Network Factory. He's a longtime member of the Belgian Linux community. If time permits he also participates in SLES beta programs and contributes to the OpenSuSE project. Leo blogs at http://leo.unstable.be/blog/.
