This year the members of Open Horizons Benelux will be have the opportunity to visit two cool events:

• Novell BrainShare Amsterdam from May 18 to 21.
  
• Novellcongres.nl on Wednesday June 2 in Ede (NL).

This year BrainShare will not only be held in Salt Lake City (US), but also in Amsterdam (NL) and that is of course good news for Europeans. For many years BrainShare has offered the opportunity to dive deep into the wonderful world of Novell and SUSE solutions. This will be the first time this event will be more or less in our backyard.

 

The Open Horizons Community is involved in several ways with this event, for example with Open Horizons Hotlabs, a booth and more. As there are already so many different discount schemes available, in general we do not offer any discounts to our European members. This year we also will work again with Novellcongres.nl to deliver our Open Horizons EMEA Tour event for the Netherlands. On June 2 we will offer a day full of sessions about new Novell and SUSE solutions as well as technical sessions about existing products. Subjects will be Open Enterprise Server, Platespin, XEN High Availability, ZENworks Configuration Management versie 11, GroupWise, Teaming, several security solutions, GroupWise Mobility and much more.

 

Like in previous years we expect to welcome 300 and 400 participants in the Reehorst in Ede (NL) and of course our Belgian members are kindly invited to join us for this event as well. The normal price for this event is 159 Euro, for our members this event is included in the membership fee and thus free.

 

To complete this overview, please note that we will also offer an one-day EMEA Tour event in Belgium, currently scheduled for Thursday June 10, as shown at www.open-horizons.net/events
